Caribbean Cruises

The employees of my company were very lucky indeed. How often does their boss take one of the many Caribbean cruises offered and come back so happy that we all received a 6% raise? Not much of a raise, but in these times we take what we can get. His wife talked him into taking one of those Caribbean cruises on a ship named "Enchantment of the Seas." It's kind of a catchy name. Anyway, he departed one day in December of last year from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

It was one of those four night western Caribbean cruises starting at around $279. Knowing my boss, I doubt if he paid very much more than that. He stopped at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Let me say that Caribbean cruises must be great because he swore he did not like ships. When he gave us the raise, we knew that there was something special about Caribbean cruises. He even brought us back some trinkets he picked up in Cozumel.

Since his return, he seems to be infatuated by cruises. He said the food was gourmet quality and that he even gained a bit of weight. He said he worked it off with some swimming and other exercises. I know Caribbean cruises have many activities, but somehow I could not visualize him participating in any of these, aside from the eating portion.

From what I gather from my previous cruise and the boss's raving about Caribbean cruises, it is the most relaxing vacation one can take. You are pampered by professionally trained staffs and it is like being on a floating hotel, but with exquisite sights. During Caribbean cruises, it appears the sun always shines. Caribbean cruises are well-known for their spotless ships, great food, and friendly personnel.
